About the Author Denise Greenwood lives with her husband Jerry and son Rees on the fringe of a Lancashire mill town on the western slopes of the South Pennines. The spectacular views span from Blackstone Edge Moor to the hills of Wardle.
After various customer relations roles Denise worked for 16 years in retail training and operations as a Policy Development Manager where she actively produced numerous publications. Denise turned her skills from technical material to literary fiction in 2010 after extensively researching and creating the story line for her first novel “Temptation,” the first eBook in a series. Inspiration for chapters came from the local scenery mingled with her childhood memories of Blackpool then Manchester plus the strong influence of a catholic girls-only education. Typically rebellious, Denise had an active teen life centred round the Manchester club scene. In her early 20s she developed a love for comedy during the transition years of mainstream to alternative comedy seeing Bill Hicks at the Royal Exchange, Spike Milligan and Rowan Atkinson at the Opera House, among many others. Theatre, cinema, galleries along with small entertainment venues were added to the mix. A love of books, music and film are threaded throughout Denise’s writing. Her favourite authors are John Irving, Robert M. Pirsig and Thomas Hardy. |

Denise has a deep but eclectic interest in philosophy, spirituality and comedy. She loves to spend rainy days in coffee shops and galleries and warm days in interesting coastal towns with curios and antique markets.
